Music – Trumpets

This year in music, year 3 have been learning to play trumpets! First we learnt how important posture was when playing the trumpet and how to hold it properly.

Next, it was time to learn to play! We started by learning how to blow into the mouth piece and with the C note as you don’t have to press down any valves. Next we moved on to the D and E note.

Now we are learning to play jingle bells for our Christmas concert! We hope to see you there!
