The Blessing of the Animals

The Mass for The Blessing of the Animals was fantastic!

The atmosphere was calm and all of the animals were really well behaved.

We sang All Things Bright and Beautiful... some dogs even tried to howl along to it! 

A range of animals attended (with their humans!) from dogs and guinea pigs to rabbits and even finches! 

All of the animals were blessed by Father David and sprinkled with Holy Water (some of the humans get wet too!)

We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Father David and Linda for such a thoughtful Mass which everyone enjoyed - we look forward to the same next year!
