Y1 and 2 football

The OLSJ Year 1 and 2 football team took part in a local tournament this week at Priestlands School. It was great to see some of our Key Stage 1 children represent the school for the first time! The team were victorious against South Baddesley twice (2-0 & 2-0) and drew against Beaulieu twice (0-0 & 2-2). The team qualified for the bronze medal match where they were defeated by Pennington 3-0 in a hard fought contest. During the tournament,  Daniel scored a staggering 6 goals and Amarah made several excellent tackles. Congratulations to the team and a huge well done for their efforts!
