Pip and Pap Parent and Child Workshop

Children and parents in Year 2 shared the Pip and Pap Phonics Reading book "The Hawk," today!

In this story, a hawk snatches the Queen's crown! Luckily, Kom the cop and his partner Lor are around to save the day!

The children then sounded out and blended words in the story, talking about the meanings of words such as 'royal', 'employee', 'value', 'claws', 'annoy', and 'pursue'!

They then made their own 'hawks' with their parents, using their handprints, sugar paper and craft materials. Aren't they fabulous?
