Pantomime blog “Oh no it isn’t!”

Wow!!!

Earlier this week years 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to The Mayflower Theatre to watch Snow White… it was AMAZING and we got to sit in rows 2 and 3… right at the front!

The show was spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes, and stunning scenery.

We experienced: Diversity’s phenomenal dance moves, witty banter between Muggles, the court jester, and the Palace Guards and the one and only pantomime legend, Christopher Biggins, who was ‘The Man in the Mirror’, appeared within a massive mirror and floated onto the stage! Also, we can’t forget the HUGE dragon on hydraulics - which actually stretched out right over us and the real fire rockets which exploded during the show!

During the interval every child had an ice-cream before the 2nd half of the performance began, when we watched Snow White marry Prince Ashley!

We would like to say a HUGE ‘thank you’ to Mr Lodge who booked this for us and left us with memories of an incredible afternoon which will stay with us for ever!
