Climate Unity Project

Louis and Emilia represented OLSJ at the Climate Unity Project before the summer holidays. The event was held at the Hampshire County Council Offices in Winchester!

Hampshire schools were invited to share their work around climate change. Emilia and Louis did a fabulous job presenting the work we carry out at OLSJ to both adults and children alike.

There were speakers from the Hampshire Youth Parliament and Hampshire County Council's Head of Climate Change as part of the event. Pupils from one of the local secondary schools also showcased an 'upcycled fashion show' which was great fun!

Both of our pupils also took part in workshops from the Final Straw Foundation and the Hampshire & IOW Wildlife Trust.

Artwork from Hampshire schools that took part in the project was showcased on the day. You can see both our artwork and artwork from other schools in the document attached. There are some fabulous pieces - can you spot Wellington the dog, created by Year 6 at OLSJ as part of a DT project?

Well done to Louis and Emlia for all of your hard work - you represented the school so well and we are very proud of your hard work.
